Job Summary
The Revenue Manager supports the commercial organization by creating, reviewing and adapting the pricing and inventory strategy in order to maximize the net ticketing revenue for a group of cruise programs (offering the right product to the right customer at the right time for the right price).
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Supports the commercial organization by creating, reviewing and adapting the pricing and inventory strategy in order to maximize the net ticketing revenue
- Interprets historical and current data and trends to identify revenue opportunities
- Constantly monitors cruises performance and prioritizes pricing actions
- Sets strategic direction, determines pricing, creates promotions, and explores new distribution opportunities in order to maximize revenue
- Balances risk vs. returns on investment of conflicting alternatives, i.e. incorporates dilution risk vs. market potential
- Understands customers’ perception of product value and accurately aligns products price and availability with each customer segment
- Utilizes knowledge of competitive positioning with other luxury cruise lines and the entire leisure market;
- Defines reference price for groups’ requests
- Approves exceptions to reference groups prices provided
- Provides ad hoc quotation for charter
- Asses current and future business performance to develop monthly net ticket revenue forecast
- Support the Commercial organization in the effective implementation and monitoring of local commissioning schemes.

Work Environment
Works in a typical office environment with quiet-to-moderate noise generated by computer printer, fax machine and light traffic. Traveling may be required.
Physical Demands
Requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching. May require lifting or pushing up to 25 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, the telephone, and other office equipment.
The position is fulltime and frequently requires working additional time outside of normal business hours.
Requirements
Skills/Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Cruise revenue management is required
- Fluent English, any additional European language is an advantage
- Strong problem solving and decision-making attitude
- Strong analytical skills
- Very good knowledge of Excel
- Experience with business intelligence tools (PowerBI, Tableau) is an advantage.
