Guest Services-Veterinary Referral Coordinator

Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Referral Coordinator to join our Client Services team.

The Referral Coordinator will play a critical role in managing and coordinating the flow of referrals from clients, referring veterinarians, and internal departments. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and process referral requests from referring veterinarians and clients
• Review medical records and diagnostic reports to ensure all necessary information is included
• Coordinate with internal departments to schedule appointments, procedures, and consultations for referred patients
• Communicate with referring veterinarians to provide updates on patient status and coordinate post-referral care
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all referral-related activities in the hospital management system
• Work closely with the Client Services team to provide exceptional service to referring veterinarians and clients
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote referral services and maintain relationships with referring veterinarians
• Assist with training new Client Services team members on referral processes and procedures
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and best practices in veterinary referral services
• Other administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Prior experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Customer service-oriented mindset
