United Rads is a leading medical imaging company that provides high-quality radiology services to healthcare facilities across the country. We are currently seeking a Clinical Coordinator to join our team. As the Clinical Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our radiology department.

In this position, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the department and coordinating patient care. You will work closely with medical professionals, including radiologists, technologists, and nurses, to ensure that patients receive timely and accurate diagnoses. Your strong organizational and leadership skills will be essential in managing schedules, coordinating staffing, and maintaining high-quality standards of care.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the radiology department, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent patient care.
  • Coordinate and schedule radiology procedures, including but not limited to X-rays, MRI, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nurses to ensure timely provision of accurate diagnoses for patients.
  • Develop and implement protocols and procedures to maintain quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff, providing guidance and feedback to promote professional growth and ensure exceptional patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to privacy regulations.
  • Coordinate with other departments and healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless communication and efficient care delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience in healthcare administration, preferably in a radiology department.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with different healthcare professionals.
  • In-depth knowledge of radiology procedures and imaging technologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards in healthcare.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism.
