Overview
Responsible for efficiently managing products within the FFP Performance and Protection category to maximize sales and profitability.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and contribute to growth of the Performance & Protection category (see below for category details).
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of category portfolio and manufacturing capabilities to create innovation pipeline with R&D team.
- Develop go-to-market strategy (Where to Play/How to Win).
- Identify emerging trends and brands to develop prospect target list.
- Identify new paths to market.
- Develop product positioning by application channel.
- Ongoing market, consumer and competitor analysis reporting & insights.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations affecting the industry and customers.
- Apply research to develop customized presentations to support sales calls and prospect outreach.
- Present data to customers and prospects alongside sales representatives.
- Support the annual planning and budgeting process.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Javo and FFP portfolios.

Requirements
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Desired
- 5-7 years of marketing experience in ingredient/CPG industry.
- Experience in the protein/meat category preferred.
- Food science/technical experience a plus.
- Must present and communicate in a professional manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft applications with strong PowerPoint skills.
- Experience working with Salesforce and Spins preferred.
- Comfortable with shifting priorities and a fast-paced environment.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.
- Consistent and exacting attention to detail.
- Quick, agile, and calm problem-solving skills.
- Strong strategic-thinking and project-management capabilities.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
