Position Overview:
The Investor Relations Analyst or Associate is responsible for providing administrative and comprehensive DDQ, RFP and investor support to the firm’s Investor Relations team. In this role you will have the opportunity to interact with many aspects of the business including investment, finance, compliance, investor relations and corporate communications. This position will have direct communication with investors. The ideal candidate will have great relationship building skills. Must be able to understand and describe key elements of business, in particular elements that are germane to the real estate industry.
Requirements
Essential Job Functions (Duties/Responsibilities):
- Provide support to the firm’s internal Investor Relations and Sales teams
- Complete data requests, RFPs, DDQs received from investors, consultants, and prospective investors
- Coordinate the qualitative write-ups and quantitative data from external teams for utilization in marketing collateral
- Maintain tracking status of upcoming DDQs, RFPs, Presentations, Capital Call Letters/Distributions, fund-raising information and ad hoc requests for investors
- Draft, transcribe and proofread internal and external correspondence (Quarterly Reports, Capital Call Letters/Distributions, etc.)
- Act as a point of contact for inbound emails and calls from the investor community
- Support the growth of a comprehensive investor relations program that successfully targets and secures new investors and ensures the maintenance of productive relationships with existing investors
- Provide relevant and real time feedback on investor perceptions and potential adjustments to ongoing messaging
- Assist in preparation of investor presentations including script, Q&A materials and other documents as needed
- All other responsibilities related to Investor Relations which may be assigned to you
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- 1-5 years of related business experience. First-hand experience with investor relations strongly preferred.
- Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully manage and prioritize multiple competing assignments, and effectively manage deadlines
- Prior experience in Investment Relations within the investment management industry preferred
- Must be highly proficient and fully functional in Microsoft Office
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are required
- Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment and with compressed projected deadlines
