Full Job Description
The Brydon Group is a private equity firm that combines the best of private equity and small business acquisitions through Entrepreneurship through Acquisition (ETA). Brydon partners with a group of five to seven CEOs-in-Residence (CIRs) each year to search for, acquire and operate businesses.
Brydon’s three partners have had multi-decade experience in large cap private equity (Blackstone, Carlyle), multiple successful exits in software, and extensive public service backgrounds. We are passionate about helping our interns learn more about private equity and develop their abilities and judgment as both investors and operators.
This unique fellowship is perfect for an undergraduate student interested in finance. In this role, you will gain experience doing industry research, learning new databases, executing sourcing strategies, supporting due diligence, and networking with top private equity investors and operators.
We are looking for an undergraduate intern to:
- Conduct research on specific industry theses and topics
- Learn new databases for sourcing potential businesses to acquire
- Execute sourcing strategies approaches
- Support diligence efforts and related workstreams
Requirements
Ideal background:
- Current undergraduate student
- Passion and interest in finance and small business
- Strong PowerPoint and research skills, with ability to quickly synthesize key information
- Location: The Brydon Group HQ (2000 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suite 5004, Washington, DC 20006)
