Requirements

The role of the Technical Operations Specialist is to ensure extreme customer satisfaction by providing and supporting internal teams, including System Integrators, Sales, and Technical Support. 

You will be working from the Varjo office, communicating with different teams within the company, preparing demo equipment, testing devices, and experiencing the best XR devices on the planet.

You get to work hands-on with our new products, and latest PC hardware. You might already have experience and are looking for a new, exciting direction, or you might be at the beginning of your career. 

This is a full-time position located in Arlington, DC. Commuting from other cities in the Capital Area is a possibility we can discuss and support.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintaining device and spare stock
  • Coordinating and making shipments out for spares and loan pool
  • Coordinating and processing customer returns
  • Performing easy inspections and tests for returning devices
  • Maintaining the demo room

 

Our Expectations

  • Bachelor’s degree, or similar, in a technical area. 
  • Experience as a Technical Support / Specialist, Technician, Customer Support, Support Staff or similar roles 
  • Practical experience of hardware maintenance including installing, examining, testing and/or replacing hardware and peripheral components 
  • High interest and curiosity to work with latest technology products, especially within VR/MR ecosystem.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a group to accomplish individual and team objectives.
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
