Roles and Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled, dynamic, and certified Slack Administrator to join our team. This role will focus on managing our Slack environments and the complex system interconnections that rely on these platforms. You will bring your expertise in managing and integrating Slack environments with various enterprise applications. Your focus will be on reinforcing collaboration, communication, and productivity while ensuring that the client's Slack channels, workspaces, and integrations are secure, compliant, and efficiently aligned with the unique needs of the healthcare sector. As the Slack Administrator, you will play a crucial role in improving our team's collaboration, communication, and productivity by ensuring that our Slack environments are more organized, intuitive, and able to keep pace with our rapidly scaling operations. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Slack integrations and bots. You will work closely with our development team to ensure seamless integration and enhance the productivity and collaboration of our employees.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Implement, manage, and troubleshoot our Slack workspaces and channels to ensure seamless, uninterrupted business continuity.
- Manage Slack's administrative tasks, such as setting permissions and maintaining configurations.
- Develop and curate Slack integrations and bots that enhance productivity, collaboration, and user experience.
- Assist in creating and enforcing company policies related to the use and security of Slack.
- Filitate educational workshops on the usage of Slack, enabling users to maximize the platform's capabilities.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to integrate other systems with Slack.
- Assess and deploy the latest Slack updates, features, and customizations that align with organizational goals and workflows.
- Regularly audit Slack usage to identify and rectify any inefficiencies.
- Resolve technical issues related to Slack usage.
- Provide user support and address complaints or concerns related to Slack.
Requirements:
- Slack Administrator certification is required.
- Prior experience in managing Slack workspaces, channels, and integrations in a business setting.
- Familiarity with APIs and integration with other enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, etc.
- Excellent understanding of Slack’s best practices and functionality.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly resolve technical issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of users, including both technical and non-technical staff.
- Strong aptitude for understanding and implementing user requirements.
- Ability to train and mentor staff on the usage of a complex software platform.
Preferred Attributes:
- Previous experience providing technical support to Federal Government agencies, ideally in managing and administering their collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with Federal IT governance, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of additional collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, and others commonly used within the Federal Government.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, especially in managing relationships with government clients.
- Experience and comfort working in a heavily regulated, high-security data environment.
- Active or previous Government Security Clearance is a significant plus.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in managing messaging and collaboration platforms, with a focus on Slack.
- Proven experience in managing Slack workspaces and channels in a business setting of comparable size and complexity.
- Demonstrable experience with APIs and integration with other systems such as Salesforce, Jira, GitHub, or equivalent systems.
- Familiarity with enterprise IT, including networking, data security, and user access configurations.
- Prior experience working in a technical support role dealing with a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience with conducting training sessions and workshops related to the use of complex software platforms.
Additional Cybersecurity and Clearance Requirements:
- Solid understanding of modern cybersecurity principles and techniques to ensure secure communication and data protection in the Slack environment.
- Proven experience in establishing and reinforcing security protocols, including monitoring for breaches and unauthorized access.
- Knowledge of user identity management and role-based access for Slack channels and workspaces.
- US Citizenship is mandatory and applicant must have the ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance. Previous clearance is a plus. All applications will be subject to a security check.
