Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect – Data Systems & Integration to join our client’s team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and hands-on experience in backend systems, data integration, and process documentation. This role requires a proactive approach to collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust data systems, ensuring seamless integration across platforms and driving project success in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
Requirements
- Define and document business processes, business/functional requirements, use cases, and technical specifications.
- Create and maintain Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) artifacts, including key process steps.
- Design, troubleshoot, and support backend systems involving OS, applications, databases, and networks.
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to implement and deploy effective solutions, providing support and challenging vendors as needed.
- Analyze and resolve software and hardware issues related to the OnBoard Information System.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, and document test results.
- Lead the adoption of Agile methodologies (SCRUM/SAFe) across teams.
- Utilize collaboration and productivity tools such as Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Present findings and solutions confidently to project teams and stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support in documenting and improving processes in a high-visibility environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience (4+ years).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.
- Proven experience in backend systems, data integration, and process documentation.
- Solid background in Agile methodologies, business process mapping, and requirements management.
