Senior SAP Functional Analyst

Quattro Consulting is seeking a Senior SAP Functional Analyst to serve on a fully funded effort supporting the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as they upgrade their current SAP version (ECC) to SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting the upgrade of SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
• Participating in analysis sessions to evaluate current and future business processes in budget, procurement, fixed asset management, general accounting and financial reporting in order to recommend business process improvements and proposed product offerings.
• Designing or modifying system specifications and applications.
• Developing functional and business process documentation.
• Performing data modeling.
• Evaluating software products that integrate with S/4HANA and performing analysis of alternatives.
• Providing business support through the discovery, prepare, explore, realize, and deploy phases including supporting user acceptance testing and training.
• Supporting development of documentation required to meet the IRS One SDLC.
• Providing functional systems expertise.
• Assisting with the development of proposed systems architecture design.
• Supporting data conversion activities, including data cleansing.
• Developing key design decision documentation.
• Assisting with the accurate documentation of current core finance processes while ensuring functional and systems requirements are specified to meet S/4HANA financial system standards.

Work Environment:

• Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).

• Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

Travel:

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Six (6) years of SAP functional analysis including the following:
• Determining functional and cross-functional requirements.
• Developing and implementing business solutions.
• Direct experience with S/4HANA, SAP FI preferred.
• Ability to work independently or under general direction.
• Must be able to obtain sufficient security clearances to access IRS facilities, systems and Sensitive but Unclassified (SBU) information in the performance of the contract. US citizenship and full tax compliance are required to obtain staff like access.
• Knowledge in accounting business processes.

• Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
• Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Quattro Consulting will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the current IRS systems environment.
• Prior experience working directly with the IRS.
