We are looking for a dynamic  Program Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC! The program Analyst will serve as a consultant to provide support services for agency priority initiatives using general analyst and project management methodologies.

The Senior Program Analyst (PA) will act as an individual contributor and team collaborator. The Sr. PA will primarily be responsible for strategic communications inputs, such as briefings, talking points, marketing materials, etc., and business plan item tracking. Additionally, and as needed, the PA will be responsible for meeting coordination and logistics, event planning and preparation, data analysis, project coordination, facilitation, reporting, action tracking, note taking, task execution, workflow documentation, and providing recommendations and/or strategies for planning, scheduling and executing project management.

This position is contingent upon award and is currently hybrid work with a minimum of two days in office at the DC location.

Responsibilities: 

  • Support strategic communications projects by developing internal and external reports, briefings, talking points, informational papers, and other documents communicating agency program objectives and outcomes
  • Facilitate executive briefing meetings as needed related to enterprise business planning with appropriate executive-facing presence
  • Provide business planning support, including documenting and tracking agency business plan items
  • Work in coordination with the client’s team to collect, analyze, and evaluate program data and critical activities affecting change management, project management, and customer relationship management processes
  • Work as an individual contributor (or in collaboration with the broader team) to conduct discrete research projects/requests that identify best practices for a defined subject matter and turn the information collected into a summative document that includes recommended next steps or way forward for tangible action
  • Assist with overall data analysis, conclusions, and presentations related to AFN priority initiative projects and/or tasks
  • Provide any/all administrative support services, including defining and documenting roles and responsibilities, identifying key players and interrelationships, developing and preparing briefing materials, taking/recording meeting minutes, notes, and action items, disseminating minutes/notes, and providing event planning and preparation services, including logistics, room setup, room and resource reservations, etc.
  • Assist with client engagement on CATHEXIS's behalf, including identifying and developing relationships with client decision-makers
  • Proactively identify client challenges and solutions as a trusted partner to the client

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or quantitative analysis
  • 6 + years of experience supporting project analysis and delivery
  • Able to obtain a NACI clearance (the National Agency Check with Inquiries)  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Tools Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel) with stronger than average skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Adobe Tools Suite (Acrobat)

  • Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills
  • Ability to manage various projects simultaneously while adhering to aggressive deadlines, schedules, and commitments
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity and limited details/direction
  • Ability to maintain consistent performance in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Skill in communicating effectively, negotiating complex issues; and maintaining good working relations with diverse groups
  • Ability to think on one’s feet and “connect the dots” with various moving parts, priorities, and initiatives
  • Self-motivated and does not require detailed management oversight
  • Flexible and able to manage moving targets and deadlines
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel (Executive through Administration)
  • Ability to take the initiative and proactively seek work assignments

CATHEXIS offers competitive compensation packages to all eligible employees. Our goal is to provide a compensation package that reflects the value you bring to our team, is competitive with market rates, and promotes your financial security and personal well-being. The annual salary range for this role is $110,000 - $115,000. Please note that the salary information provided is a general guideline. CATHEXIS considers various factors in its final offer, including location, qualifications, experience, and skills.
