You understand the big picture and can effectively communicate how it impacts varying audiences in both written and oral form. Learn how an agency works and thrive in an environment with lots of moving pieces. You will have a part of multiple projects across different initiatives. You will be a key team member dedicated to marketing and communications professionals who create and execute campaigns for our clients.
What the Day-to-Day Looks Like
- Client Deliverables. Participate in client engagements and start interfacing with clients; Manage limited client projects based on team needs and individual strengths; Work with team on deliverables such as developing a copy for a client review.
- Content Creation. Develop copy for search, social and display ads; organic content; blog posts; websites; and other digital marketing and/or communications materials; Independently create regular and actionable campaign reporting for clients; Develop presentations and memos and begin to hone presentation skills; Draft content calendars and develop content for blogs, social, email templates and memos.
- Digital Marketing Put together account analysis for organic, earned and paid content; Begin to work with delivery teams on larger client deliverables, project managing the process from start to final product
- Strategic Communications Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of local, regional, national and global communications campaigns; Draft, edit, and issue press releases, advisories, op-eds, blogs, briefing documents and other materials; Continue to develop and maintain relationships with influential media to secure and grow coverage; Plan and assist in executing events and key moments for clients; Draft and send client and campaign reports, etc.
What You Bring
- 1-2 years of communications, public relations, marketing, or advertising experience preferred but not required; previous experience can include internship or previous part-time and/or full time positions.
- Intellectual curiosity and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Extremely strong written capabilities
- Knowledge of Cision or Meltwater is a plus

BPI offers a comprehensive total compensation package for this role to include but not limited to a targeted base annual salary range of $50,000-65,000 and an annual discretionary bonus, and generous benefits. Actual base and bonus compensation will be determined by a wide variety of factors, such as skillset, level of experience, and other qualifications.
