PMS 408 - Naval Expeditionary Missions (EXM) Program Office
Acquisition & Logistics Program Management provides ongoing analytical, acquisition, contracts, logistics program management and administrative support to Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Programs.
The contractor shall:
- Supports execution of acquisition and logistics management across a portfolio of Navy Expeditionary Medical Systems.
- Coordinates product development/procurement and tasking across the acquisition process and life cycle phases.
- Assists with developing product contracting strategy, prepares programmatic documents, and coordinates activities with program stakeholders.
- Supports technical evaluations and document writing as required.
- Participates or facilitates working groups, product IPTs, test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations.
- Support development and management of the acquisition strategy and associated Integrated Master Schedule.
- Develops / Identifies Product Lifecycle Cost Estimates and analysis, product procurement/sustainment/delivery schedules and performance tradeoffs.
- Support development of Work Breakdown Structures to make complex projects and procurement strategies manageable and approachable.
- Assist to develop, edit, and staff Logistics Program Strategies.
- Support preparation of formal Program Management briefings and status reports using Microsoft applications.
- Works with various subject matter experts to achieve desired contracted strategies and outcomes.
- Supports maintaining configuration control of documents and systems.
- Supports preparation of plans for product risk mitigation.
- Follow established procedures and provide creative input on new approaches to fulfill project goals.
- Provide system engineering support to develop materiel solutions for installation onboard Navy Platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree 8+ years relevant experience or…
- Associates Degree and 12+ years relevant experience.
- (Preferred) Equivalent or experience commensurate with DAWIA Level II certification in Acquisition Career Field or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- (Preferred) Familiarity with NAVSEA PEO Ships Washington Navy Yard.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Travel: Requires local area travel with occasional travel CONUS.

- Knowledge of the DoDI 5000 series,
- Program Objective Memorandum (POM)
- Budget and spend plan preparation
- PR/MIPR development and processing
- Research and Development efforts
- Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
- OPSEC requirements
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills
