Retail Associate (Union Market)

Main Responsibilities:

• Act as an extension of the District Doughnut brand and engage customers with detailed knowledge of all offered products.
• Arrive promptly at time of shift and appropriately prep store for shift.
• Handle all food and beverage items according to allergen standards and maintain excellent personal hygiene at all times.
• Expertly complete all POS transactions and finalize exceptional product presentation.
• Maintain constant attention to the organization and cleanliness of all customer-facing retail spaces, back of house, and all storage areas.
• Collaborate with management for process and performance improvement.

Job Type: Part Time or Full Time

Hours of Scheduling: Varies upon store schedule and upon your personal availability. Stores are open 7 days/week and your availability is expected to include at least 1 weekend day.

Wage Structure: $19.00/hour + bonus incentive earning potential

Requirements

• Ability to be standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs throughout shift.
• Eagerness to learn about gourmet pastries and food + beverage industry.
• Maintain standards of personal and professional appearance with clean and appropriate work attire.
• Reliable and on-time to all shifts.
• Personal initiative to foster positive customer interactions.
• Energetic, disciplined focus on responsibilities.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
