Physical Therapist

Full-Time Physical Therapist – Empower Recovery | Washington, DC

We are hiring a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at an Assisted Living Facility near DuPont Circle in Washington, DC. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact by helping residents regain strength, improve mobility, and enhance their quality of life. You'll collaborate closely with a skilled team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, doctors, and nursing staff to provide individualized care that fosters independence and meaningful outcomes.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Patient Load: 7 patients per day (35 per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand each resident’s unique needs and create customized care plans to address them.
• Provide hands-on therapy to improve mobility, reduce pain, and foster functional independence.
• Track and monitor residents' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure they achieve their individual goals.
• Empower residents and their families by providing education on rehabilitation exercises and strategies for continued progress at home.

Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 annually

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active WA State license as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (new graduates are welcome to apply).
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and EMR systems (e.g., WebPT).
• Clean professional record with no disciplinary actions.
