Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager for our limited service hotel. This position will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high levels of guest service, and achieving operational excellence. The Operations Manager will report directly to the General Manager and will work closely with all departments to maintain overall quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership:
- Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure standards are met in all guest services and facilities.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure smooth operations and communication among all staff.
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Guest Experience:
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or feedback promptly.
- Develop and promote programs to enhance guest relations and improve service quality.
Financial Performance:
- Assist in budget preparation and manage operational expenses to maintain profitability.
- Analyze financial reports to identify performance issues and develop actionable strategies.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure a knowledgeable and highly engaged team.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
Sales and Marketing:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.
- Support sales initiatives by ensuring high standards of service delivery.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel operations, preferably in a limited service environment.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management software and property management systems.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for hospitality.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
