Description
In this position as Media Supervisor (Buying), you will lead the execution and management of paid media campaigns and other Media Buyers across numerous clients on the Paid Media team. You’ll work closely with a team of Media Buyers, and coordinate across our Client Services, Media Planning, and Analytics teams to execute successful campaigns.
The ideal candidate is a quick learner with a passion for managing digital advertising campaigns in social media, search, and programmatic advertising platforms.
In this position you'll be expected to:
- Foster good working relationships across all client teams to facilitate flawless execution of plans
- Assume ownership on requests and works with client/account team to prioritize and delegate appropriately: plan changes, budget changes, campaign flighting, and marketplace information
- Lead pod of Buyers + directly manage Media Managers, Senior Media Planners, and Media Planners with a focus on development, training and quality of work while also serving as a role model and mentor (eligible for direct reports 6 months into role)
- Improve upon/develop new processes to streamline communication and flawless implementation of plans
- Develop plans which align with client/campaign objectives and work closely with Client/Account Leads to ensure media plans deliver upon the agreed strategies and approach
- Lead on campaign implementation/management in regards to: buying, negotiating, implementation, optimization, and analysis
- Use internal data sources as well as past performance to develop insights and strategy for future efforts
- Work with internal analytical team to gauge media performance and KPI’s to determine the extent to which the original objectives and strategies were met
We're looking for someone who has/is:
- 4+ years relevant work experience
- Must have proven managerial experience (minimum 2 direct reports)
- Enthusiasm for Democratic and progressive politics, and excitement to work with our philanthropic, corporate, financial, and public affairs clients
- Hands-on experience with search, social, and programmatic buying platforms including: Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Display & Video 360, and the Trade Desk, along with Google Campaign Manager for ad serving
- Analytical thinking skills, with knowledge of business intelligence dashboard software such as Google Analytics, Datorama or Tableau
- Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Outstanding collaboration skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and disciplined self-starter with an innate curiosity for learning new things

BPI offers a comprehensive total compensation package for this role of $80,000-$90,000 with an annual discretionary bonus and generous benefits. Estimated starting base salary will be based on level of experience.
