We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patients' health status and report any changes to the registered nurse or physician
- Assist with the implementation of patient care plans and provide basic nursing care
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients by attending to their physical and emotional needs
- Perform routine procedures, such as taking vital signs, collecting samples for lab testing, and assisting with medical examinations
- Document patient information, including medical histories, symptoms, and treatments, accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and provide support and guidance
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to infection control protocols
- Stay updated with current healthcare practices and participate in continuous education programs
Requirements
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an LPN
- Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
Benefits
Assignment location: MA
Length of assignment: 10 -16 weeks
Guarantee hours: 32 - 40 hours.
Work schedule: 07:000am- 3:00pm
Pay rate: $960 - $1,360 weekly
Sign-on Bonus: on second pay check
