NCG Associates is a trusted healthcare staffing agency known for providing top-notch recruitment services. We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As an LPN at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients and contribute to their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
  • Monitor patients' health status and report any changes to the registered nurse or physician
  • Assist with the implementation of patient care plans and provide basic nursing care
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients by attending to their physical and emotional needs
  • Perform routine procedures, such as taking vital signs, collecting samples for lab testing, and assisting with medical examinations
  • Document patient information, including medical histories, symptoms, and treatments, accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions and provide support and guidance
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to infection control protocols
  • Stay updated with current healthcare practices and participate in continuous education programs

Requirements

  • Valid LPN license in the state of practice
  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an LPN
  • Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Benefits

Assignment location: MA
Length of assignment: 10 -16 weeks
Guarantee hours: 32 - 40 hours.
Work schedule:   07:000am- 3:00pm
Pay rate: $960 - $1,360 weekly
Sign-on Bonus: on second pay check
PTO
License Required: MA License/Compact
