We are currently seeking a seeking a talented and experienced full time Home Care Nurse (RN) Manager to work within a senior care community! This position will primarily be responsible for the client assessments and oversight of the clinical staff. Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm. Salary range is $95k- $130k.
The Nurse Manager should have an active RN license in DC that is in good standing. At least 2-3 years of experience in specialized home care or home health, and at least 2 years of progressive nursing leadership, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is a plus; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate must also be well versed in client engagement, and relationship management skills.

We are looking for a confident Nurse Manager who has:
- Familiarity with home care, home health or long-term care
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Prior success in developing and building effective teams through motivating and coaching team members.
- Excellent supervisory skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
The Nurse Manager is responsible for:
- The clinical assessments of the DC region in collaboration with the IAH Executive Director
- Supervising the delivery of home care services to include client care and EHR documentation.
- Assures compliance with all state, federal, and OSHA health regulations/standards
- Ensuring client care plans are updated according to changes in resident's needs
- Visiting client homes to complete assessments which may include driving to their homes.
- Acts as a leader by ensuring productivity, efficiency and accuracy of work performed by the team.
- Assists in promoting home care services to the community.
- Serve as back up RN support to the other IAH regions.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Washington, D.C., or willing to apply
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in home care nursing
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Knowledge of home care regulations and best practices
- Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
