FOIA Analyst Intermediate

TechOp Solutions International is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented FOIA Analyst to join our team. As a FOIA Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our clients with the release of information under the Freedom of Information Act.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process FOIA requests from start to finish, ensuring compliance with FOIA regulations
• Conduct thorough research to identify responsive data and determine the scope of requests
• Prepare and provide advice and guidance to requesters regarding the FOIA process
• Coordinate with program offices and other stakeholders to obtain necessary records and clarify responses
• Manage and maintain accurate records of FOIA requests and progress
• Respond to internal and external inquiries and provide excellent customer service

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in processing FOIA requests
• Knowledge of FOIA regulations and procedures
• Proficiency in using FOIA tracking systems
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a background investigation
