Full Job Description
Avoq is seeking a designer who turns imagination into polished creative deliverables. You’ll work on behalf of our diverse roster of clients in developing breakthrough designs spanning all media (paid, earned, shared and owned). This role may report into our Chicago, Washington, D.C., or New York City office.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Work independently or with a team to deliver design solutions
- Fluent in design principles and impeccable typesetting practices
- Can handle a high volume of projects ranging from print collateral to digital deliverables
- Produce a variety of high quality of deliverables including logo systems, branded collateral, digital experiences (UI/UX), social media assets, trade-shows and environmental signage, data-visualizations, illustration, motions design, etc.
- Distill business objectives into visual aesthetics that drive results
- Present and discuss the work with clarity and confidence, both internally and with clients
- Identity creative insights that lead to design systems and solutions
- Oversee print production and vendors
- Manage multiple deadlines and project workflows
- Contribute to new business and Avoq marketing efforts
- Mentor junior designers on best practices, offering thorough feedback, ideas and solutions
Requirements
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- 2-4 years of experience and an online portfolio demonstrating past success in design solutions
- Current on creative tactics and emerging marketing and communications trends
- Understanding of user-experience design and digital best practices
- Command of the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Effective verbal and listening communication skills
- Able to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior ad agency or design firm experience and/or an design school degree, but a stellar portfolio and experience without a degree will be considered

The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $70,000
