(Who We Need):
World Central Kitchen, Inc. (WCK) is hiring for the full-time non-exempt position of Coordinator, Matching Gifts to join our growing Development team. In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for providing customer service to generous supporters of World Central Kitchen and internal stakeholders. You will learn about the lifecycle of matching gifts, respond to company and donor inquiries about this charitable giving channel, and maintain, update, and confirm matching gift information through various portals. You will be communicating in writing or on the phone with WCK donors, helping answer inquiries and resolving issues related to employee matches. In this role, you will be helping educate employers and donors about the process of matching gifts.
You will report to the Manager, Donor Experience and join the Development team in providing excellent customer service to the people and organizations supporting our mission.

Location (Where You Are): This position is intended to be hybrid, based in Washington DC, with 2-3 days on-site per week.
Responsibilities (What You Do):
- Develop knowledge of WCK’s mission, programs, giving channels, and fundraising platforms to effectively assist with current and future donors.
- Gain a thorough knowledge of the matching gift channel, understand the matching gifts administration landscape.
- Complete donation verifications and donation forms in a timely manner.
- Respond to donor and corporate/foundation inquiries on issues related to matching gifts.
- Help identify incoming donations as matching gifts and retrieve and process donor files.
- Keep matching gift donor portal information up to date.
- Research and record donor attributions and designations of donations.
- Help respond to inquiries to the WCK donation email account, prioritize work, research issues, escalate as necessary, and respond promptly.
Requirements
(Who You Are):
- 1-3 years of experience with customer supporting roles. Bachelor’s degree desirable.
- Experience in business writing and proofreading.
- Ability to analyze and interpret information and solve problems.
- A dynamic communicator with an upbeat attitude and the ability to interact seamlessly with individuals at all levels. Multilingual skills and multi-cultural experience appreciated.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Tech proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Slack, Dropbox and ability to navigate multiple software platforms at once. Experience working with spreadsheets and data entry.
- Actively embody empathy and compassion in interactions with staff and stakeholders, fostering an inclusive supportive environment.
Preferred candidates will also have a bachelor’s degree (or 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree), previous experience working in a fundraising or development environment, multilingual skills and multi-cultural experience.

Salary Range: $25.00 - $28.00 USD Per Hour
