Call for Project Director CVs

The Program Director will be responsible for driving project vision, leadership, and direction to ensure the strategic, programmatic, technical, and financial deliverables and integrity of the project. The Program Director will have the overall responsibility for leading and managing personnel as well as reporting project activities. The Program Director will serve as the project’s main point of contact with donors on routine and strategic engagements and will be responsible for making key decisions and solving problems within short timeframes while ensuring operational and project quality and integrity. The Program Director will also ensure effective organizational management and communication with all levels of the host country's government, international agencies, and other stakeholders.

This is a general call to solicit applications from potential Program Director candidates for remote or Washington D.C.-based positions. Recruitment is subject to funds availability from donors.

Requirements

• Minimum of Advanced Degree in International Development, Business, or a related field.

•  At least five (5) years of work experience successfully in the support or management of large Institutional Support Contracts
•  At least five (5) years of work experience in management positions on international donor funded organizations.
•  Previous experience serving in management and/programmatic functions on U.S. government contracts.
•  Demonstrated experience managing multiple sub-partners and leading institutional capacity development activities.
•  Demonstrated experience and knowledge in establishing project systems and overseeing project start-up and close-out.
