Full Job Description
The Project Coordinator at our Durham, CT office will report directly to Green Power Energy’s VP of Operations. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for applying for and obtaining approvals for solar and solar + storage projects. Salary range depending on experience, $45k-52k annually.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out the company’s vision, culture and growth plan for the Connecticut office
- Provide support for the Field Operations in CT, including the preparation of job folders and project permits.
- Call customers and coordinate the installation schedule of their solar project
- Review and order project materials lists and coordinate deliveries to job sites
- Support staff by creating and maintaining schedules
- Assist with permit applications and scheduling of final inspections
- Organize, replenish, and maintain office supplies
- Provide support to associate requests as needed
- Maintain company’s CRM by entering notes and schedules into our database
- Assist with special project paperwork
- Receive deliveries and mail as well as make outbound mailings as required
- Place, receive, and screen calls and receive outside guests in a professional manner
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Excellent organizational skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Must be motivated and ready to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to interact with others effectively within the team environment
- Ability to take direction, identify problems, develop solutions, conduct analysis independently and in collaboration with others
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and projects
- Creative thinker with the ability to make decisions and execute effectively
- Ability to work within a team environment and provide back-up support to other Project Coordinators as needed
- Maturity to handle confidential issues and communicate effectively with team members and Senior Executives

- Systematic approach in carrying out assignments, including appropriate follow-up
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales, Design & Engineering, and Inside Operations to deliver on customer commitments
