Position Overview:
The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for all aspects of Purchasing with special attention to developing and negotiating RFPs with a stable of trusted subcontractors in the markets in which ICAST operates.
Requirements
Must Have Qualifications:
- 3+ Years’ experience in a similar position, in the residential construction industry
- Knowledge of Federal Procurement Processes & Federal Acquisition Regulations pertaining to CFR200
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrable ability to read and understand product specifications for HVAC, Hot Water heaters, and other energy efficiency and solar products.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Experience with Change Order processes
- Proficiency with M365 suite of products
- Experience performing Procurement functions in the Multifamily segment of the Construction Industry
Location: Remote in the U.S.A.
Travel: Some limited travel may be required based on needs
Reports to: Director of Purchasing & Vendor Relations
Skill Level: Intermediate
Areas of Expertise: Purchasing, Vendor Relationships, Contract Negotiation,
Compensation: $65,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Selecting and contracting sub-contractors in accordance with Federal guidelines
- Maintaining sub-contractor agreements and documentation
- Negotiating with vendors
- Creating RFQ’s and assisting in the development of SoWs in adherence to Federal guidelines
- Evaluating Bids
