Position Overview:

The primary functions of the Customer Solutions Manager (Solar) include developing relationships with multifamily property owners and managers to deploy on-site Solar (with Storage and Energy Management) onsite at Multifamily Affordable Housing properties. The CSM(s) will be expected to maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all sales activity in Salesforce and to provide direct status updates to ICAST management as needed and requested. 

Requirements

Must Have Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years’ experience selling into the Multifamily Solar or Commercial Solar market   
  • Knowledge of solar project development process 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM    
  • Knowledge of utility rebate programs and federal and local tax credits and incentives  
  • Experience selling Energy Storage     
  • Knowledge of Energy Financing options such as PPA, PACE, EPC, EaaS 
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills 

Location: Remote in the U.S.A. (close to a major airport)

Travel: As needed

Reports to: President & CEO

Skill Level: Intermediate

Education: BA in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.

Areas of Expertise: B2B Solar Sales, PV Solar Sales, Multifamily Solar, Multifamily Affordable Housing, 

Compensation: $75K + Commission

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network with owners and managers of MF properties 
  • Collect property data to help ICAST engineers develop proposals and estimates 
  • Enter all activities into Salesforce 
  • Close contracts with MF customers  
  • Follow-up with clients to resolve pending issues including requests for data
