Who we are:

ICAST (International Center for Appropriate and Sustainable Technology) is a 501c3 nonprofit that delivers green upgrades to multifamily affordable housing properties to fight climate change, preserve affordable housing, and address social inequity. We put millions of dollars to work in local communities across the US, saving low- and moderate-income families millions on their utility bills, reducing carbon emissions by millions of tons, and creating thousands of sustainable jobs in the green energy sector. ICAST motivates people to act, spurring local economic development, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility.
