The City of Centennial is seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

  • Provide support to city officials by preparing reports, memos, and presentations.
  • Manage and organize files, correspondence, and documents for easy retrieval.
  • Schedule appointments and meetings, ensuring efficient use of time.
  • Assist in answering phone calls and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring that the workspace is organized and functional.
  • Coordinate special projects and events, assisting with planning and logistics.
  • Serve as a liaison between various departments to facilitate effective communication.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of government operations and procedures is a plus.
