Company Over We are a fast-growing SaaS startup specializing in solutions for inspection and construction companies. As we continue to scale rapidly, we are looking for a VP of Sales to build, lead, and optimize our sales strategy. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in a company that has never had a VP of Sales before, and your work will directly influence our growth trajectory.

As the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for architecting and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that drives revenue growth, builds sustainable sales processes, and ensures alignment across the sales funnel. You will be a key player in defining sales procedures, KPIs, and daily monitoring systems, with an emphasis on data-driven decision-making and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Design and implement a scalable sales process with clearly defined steps and KPIs.
  • Establish daily monitoring and reporting systems to track leads, conversions, and pipeline progress.
  • Develop funnels and implement engineering-driven sales procedures to ensure consistent performance.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Oversee and review the sales team’s daily tasks and project outcomes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and development plans for the sales team to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent as the team grows.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment on lead generation, content, and campaigns.
  • Ensure that marketing-to-sales handoffs are seamless and trackable.
  • Collaborate with product and finance teams to ensure accurate forecasting and sales-target alignment.

Revenue Growth & Targets:

  • Set and track monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Ensure the company meets or exceeds revenue goals through effective sales planning, pipeline management, and forecasting.
  • Implement performance tracking tools to ensure accountability and transparency in hitting numbers.

Process Optimization:

  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Continuously improve sales processes, tools, and techniques to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Integrate sales automation tools and CRM systems to optimize lead conversion rates and sales cycles.

Reporting & KPIs:

  • Create and manage detailed reports on sales performance, conversion rates, and other key metrics.
  • Provide the executive team with regular updates on sales progress and forecasts.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to ensure the sales team is meeting company objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, ideally within a fast-paced tech startup environment.
  • Strong background in sales engineering and process design, with the ability to implement and refine data-driven sales strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of CRM and sales automation tools to optimize lead conversion.
  • Ability to work closely with marketing, product, and finance teams to align goals and drive company growth.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to guide decisions.
