Full Job Description
We are seeking a US General Manager for a leading company specializing in cutting-edge database solutions, focused on delivering open-source, real-time data warehouse services to enterprise users worldwide. This role involves spearheading market development in North America while supporting Chinese enterprises operating abroad. The ideal candidate will utilize industry expertise to identify key clients, implement effective sales strategies, and build lasting partnerships with major accounts in the U.S. market.
Key responsibility
- Business Breakthroughs: Establish and lead the North American team to explore and expand new market opportunities across key industries such as the internet, retail, FMCG, and automotive, laying the foundation for significant growth and scaling opportunities to drive sustained success.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify potential clients in the NA market and provide dedicated support to Chinese enterprises expanding overseas. Responsible for the integration of key products and solutions to achieve key product performance targets
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new opportunities and develop strategies to capture market share.
- Process and System Development: Plan, organize, and establish SOPs for business development, customer relationship management, and other marketing-related systems to streamline operations.
Requirements
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in sales as sales head within the cloud computing or database industries,familiar with database, cloud computing and business intelligence industries.
- Start-up Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience as GM/VP/CEO/COO in a related start-up with a track record of adapting and driving growth
- Bilingual Skills: Proficiency in both Chinese and English
- Hands-On Leadership Skills: Preference for candidates with a hands-on approach to leadership and execution
