Full Job Description
A national heavy equipment manufacturer is currently seeking a Territory Sales Representative to drive sales and increase market share in the NE territory. Responsibilities include selling electric and hydraulic crane equipment to within a 8-state territory.
Candidates must be located in the territory, consisting of PA, RI, NY, MA, ME, CT, VT, NH.
What your will be doing:
- Successfully sell truck-mounted electric and hydraulic cranes, crane bodies, crane control technologies, and accessories to heavy equipment suppliers and truck dealerships within a given territory
- Research the competitive landscape to identify prospects and establish key relationships with new clients
- Grow existing client base by conducting regular site-visits, corresponding through phone
- Effectively conduct sales presentations to demonstrate the company’s product line to prospects and existing clients
- Maintain accurate client records in CRM and submit daily reporting
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you bring to the table:
- Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience in industrial equipment or related industry
- A proven track record in prospecting and expanding business within a given territory
- Strong account management skills with a history of developing long-term relationships with clients
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communication at a levels of an organization
- Able to travel 50% of the within the assigned territory, overnight travel required
- Must reside within 25 minutes of a major airport
- Valid driver’s license required
- BA in business or engineering required
