This role will play a vital part in delivering high-quality tax services, managing client relationships, and driving effective tax planning and resolution strategies. Reporting to the Tax & Accounting Leader, this role will also collaborate closely with other management team members.

Responsibilities

Client Relationships:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships by addressing complex tax matters and providing strategic financial and tax advice.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify client challenges and opportunities.

Tax Services:

  • Manage and oversee the preparation of individual, business, and estate tax filings.
  • Ensure filings comply with regulations and are submitted on time.
  • Research tax issues, stay updated on tax law changes, and develop strategies aligned with client goals.
  • Help design, test, evaluate, and adopt new processes and technologies as they become available.

Collaboration & Development:

  • Work closely with leadership and other team members to plan and execute client engagements.
  • Share insights and best practices to support process improvements and the adoption of new technologies.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance professional knowledge and technical skills.

Requirements

  • CPA, EA, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of tax or financial accounting experience, including client-facing roles.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
