The coordinator plays a vital role in mitigating risks, promoting best practices, and fostering a culture of compliance within our organization.

Responsibilities

Staying abreast of legal and regulatory changes impacting interpreter compliance will be essential.

You will oversee compliance operations by managing the onboarding process for new interpreters, including credential verification and background checks. Risk mitigation is another crucial responsibility. You will conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities, design mechanisms to catch compliance errors before they occur, and develop and implement corrective action plans to address any identified issues. Staying informed about best practices and emerging trends in contractor compliance will be important.

Collaborating with stakeholders across departments, including HR, legal, and operations, to ensure alignment and communication on compliance is vital. You will develop strong relationships with interpreters to provide ongoing support and enable continuous improvement. Additionally, you will effectively communicate compliance-related issues to clients.
