Full Job Description
Movement Labs is a movement incubator and the leading peer-to-peer text political consultancy supporting progressives and grassroots activists nationwide. Our clients span both establishment and movement efforts, from senior Democratic Congressional leadership to Black Lives Matter. Your work will help mobilize 100,000 votes in the top battleground states to stop Donald Trump and recruit thousands of candidates for 100,000 elections that go uncontested every year.
As a Senior Advisor to the Political Innovation team, you'll help us launch large scale experiments that rigorously assess the impact of both paid and organic content on YouTube. You're an expert at using the pre-roll survey function within YouTube, knowledgeable about working with creators, and about ad-targeting capabilities. You also have a sense of what content works on YouTube and have strong opinions about how you'd approach using YouTube to provably generate more votes for Joe Biden.
You'll work closely with the VP of Political Innovation and Political Innovation Digital Director and be paid a market-rate hourly fee as well as being eligible for a bonus if your work provably generates votes against Trump.
Movement Labs is a fast-paced environment, where we are laser-focused on testing and implementing strategies for defeating Trump and getting Democrats elected. We work hard, and the environment evolves rapidly. We are adaptable, nimble, and shift quickly as needed to meet the moment. We are looking for candidates that thrive in this type of environment.
Depending on your expertise, rates and the projects we select, this could be a part-time or full-time role. This role is fully remote.
Benefits
- $60-$150/hour, depending on skills, experience, and particular projects that advance.
- This role is a cycle-based hire through November 15, but we hope to find opportunities to extend where possible.
- This position is not eligible for the collective bargaining unit.
