Full Job Description

As a Sales Representative at Valley Services, you will drive client acquisition and retention across our Transfer Facility and Portable Sanitation divisions. You will develop and implement sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and create compelling presentations to secure new clients. Managing accounts and ensuring customer satisfaction will be key responsibilities, along with negotiating contracts and closing deals. Your role will require strong communication skills and coordination with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve sales targets.

Job Tasks

  • Client Acquisition and Retention:
  • Identify and target potential clients in both waste management and portable sanitation markets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Understand customer needs and propose appropriate solutions from our service catalog.
  • Account Management:
  • Manage accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly follow up with clients to ensure service satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Coordination and Communication:
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure seamless service

delivery.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and KPI reports to management.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all sales activities and client interactions.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Valley Services’ products and services.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and competitor activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in waste management or a related industry.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
