Our partner is seeking a Regional Director, Sales (Southeast) based in Los Angeles, CA. This role will focus on developing strategic relationships and supporting Regional Directors in achieving their territory quotas.
Responsibilities:
- Create and facilitate high-level conversations with education and policy state leaders, executive directors, and school administrators.
- Serve as primary point of contact for strategic clients, supporting their needs through thought partnership and strategy development.
- Identify and capitalize on long-term relationships to drive revenue growth.
- Support Regional Directors in meeting individual quota within the south central region.
- Develop commercial partnerships with strategic clients.
- Engage industry thought leaders to strengthen market position.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement territory growth plans and strategies.
- Implement engagement plans to expand client footprint aligned with organizational goals.
- Coordinate national strategy across territories and share best practices.
- Lead cross-departmental sales strategy and support product implementation.
- Mentor Regional Sales Directors.
- Maintain knowledge of industry products, services, and competitors.
- Develop relationships in parent and sibling organizations.
- Travel up to 50% within the south central region and beyond as needed.
- Support team collaboration and success.
- Utilize training resources to improve skills and stay current in early childhood education trends.
Requirements
- Proven track record in closing high-level sales opportunities.
- 5 years experience supporting early childhood decision makers.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
- Located in a South or lower Central U.S. state.
- Knowledge of state early childhood and education systems in the Southern Central U.S. region.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Google tools, and video conferencing.
- Excellent research skills.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
- Experienced in high-growth organizations.
- Willingness to travel.
