Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, and other real estate transaction documents.
- Provide legal advice on zoning and land use issues related to development projects.
- Conduct due diligence and review title reports, surveys, and zoning restrictions.
- Assist with financing documentation and compliance for real estate transactions.
- Manage regulatory issues and ensure adherence to relevant laws and guidelines.
- Represent the company in real estate-related litigation and disputes as necessary.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
Requirements
- Jurisdictional bar admission and a valid attorney license to practice law.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law, particularly in transactions and development.
- Strong understanding of real estate finance, contracts, and property law.
- Excellent negotiation and drafting skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects.
- Proficient in legal research, analysis, and problem-solving techniques.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence at all levels.
