Job Description Summary:
Oceania International is a fast-growing E-commerce company seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Specialist to join the team. This position will oversee these operations ensuring that the most efficient use of resources is being utilized. Production and customer service targets will be met through planning, coordinating, continuous improvement, and directing of labor resources.
The Operations Specialist will be hands-on and will build and maintain relationships with hourly associates, managers, vendors, and various departments in the company. This individual will be someone who likes dealing with ambiguity, change, and enjoys getting into the details through prioritizing team workload and driving improvements every single day.
Key Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities/Functions:
- Create value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management.
- Report and assist the COO with all day-to-day operational duties including but not limited to allocating work orders to the team, analyzing operational data
- Comply with the Operational Excellence fundamentals by meeting and maintaining labor initiatives.
- Ensure the entire team is trained and able to execute.
- Serves as a liaison between executives, internal management, employees, clients as required
- Track and forecast operational trends and analysis
- Manage and improve operational practices
- Allocate resources and materials to meet established project deadlines and outcomes
- Formalize policies and procedures SOP
- Lead with management of strategic planning, business development, and fiscal operations
- Establish positive relationships with staff, stakeholders, and strategic vendors, partner
- Contribute towards the achievement of the company’s strategic and operational objectives
- Examine financial data/statements and utilize them to improve profitability
Requirements
- Fluent in Mandarin
- Bachelor degree in Operations Management or relevant field
- In-depth knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Must possess an understanding of B2C e-Commerce sales and operations management
- Ability to think analytically and efficiently while performing daily operations
- At least 3+ years of working experience in operations
- Hands-on experience with budget development and oversight experience
- Applicable knowledge of budgets, forecasting, and metrics
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Creative, entrepreneurship is a plus
- Familiar or knowledge about supply chain is a plus
