Our mission at Oura is to empower every person to own their inner potential. Our award-winning products help our global community gain a deeper knowledge of their readiness, activity, and sleep quality by using their Oura Ring and its connected app. We've helped over one million people understand and improve their health by providing daily insights and practical steps to inspire healthy lifestyles.
Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office.
We have offices in San Francisco and San Diego for those who prefer hybrid or office settings and employee hubs, including New York City, Boston, Los Angeles, Seattle, and more.
We’re seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join the Marketing and Membership team. In partnership with the Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the user experience through owned channels and shaping Oura's marketing and membership strategy, primarily by executing and optimizing lifecycle marketing programs.
While you will report to the Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will also work closely with multiple teams at Oura including Commerce, Growth, Business Intelligence, and Product. As a Lifecycle Manager, you will be managing the CRM strategy across email, SMS, and in-app channels, as well as spearheading your own initiatives. You’ll partner with our agency and creative teams to develop ad hoc and integrated marketing campaign content and have a keen eye for design and copy. In addition, you will stay up-to-date on channel best practices and trends and seek opportunities to leverage customer insights and user behavior analytics to continually refine our communications strategy.
What you will do:
- Own the day-to-day operations of our ESP (Braze) and SMS platform (Attentive)
- Develop and execute cross-functional email and in-app message programs and campaigns
- Manage the production of engaging, empathetic, and relevant messaging that converts across channels and audiences in collaboration with Editorial and Creative teams.
- Influence cross-channel strategy and performance by contributing to lifecycle team initiative planning and prioritization
- Support the development of reporting processes to demonstrate impact to the larger organization
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team, Growth team, and external agencies to design and execute experiments to optimize campaigns, using established statistical concepts
- Maintain high deliverability and inboxing rates for email, diagnosing and solving any related issues as they arise
- Ensure proper email communication hygiene and compliance protocols, following GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, etc. standards as they are necessary.
This is a remote US role with a slight preference for candidates based in San Francisco, San Diego, or Boston.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience focused on the development and optimization of Lifecycle Marketing initiatives in a comparable industry or organization
- Experience working with a CRM (Braze preferred) and complex marketing tech stack to execute complex campaigns and programs (HTML + SQL experience is a plus)
- Ability to autonomously own the production of engaging, empathetic, and relevant messaging across the user experience and owned channels, as well as post-campaign reporting and analysis
- Excellent attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in various capacities, with the flexibility to adjust priorities as needed to align with business objectives
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt and solve problems in fast-paced environments
- Demonstrated cross-functional leadership, capable of either leading or contributing to complex initiatives and effectively communicating strategic decisions to stakeholders
