Full Job Description
We are looking for a Human Resources Manager in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR Department. This role ensures that HR functions smoothly, delivering high-quality service to the firm.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Maintain state and federal employee requirements
- Perform internal customer service functions by answering employee and/or candidate questions and requests (either in person or virtually)
- Source resumes to find qualified candidates
- Schedule interviews and/or conduct mini phone interviews prior to candidate conducting onsite interview
- Maintain computer system by updating and entering data
- Collect and review employment applications and assist candidates by providing instructions.
- Interview candidates for multiple positions using behavioral style interview techniques and pre-established interview guide questions
- Ensuring background checks are completed as maybe required
- Preparing new hire packets and reviewing for accuracy
- Maintain current HR electronic files and databases
- Update employee records and process terminations and other status changes
- Maintain employee records per company, state, and federal guidelines
- Prepare and provide various reports (employee turnover, headcount, etc.) as required
- Complete special projects as directed by the Director of Operations
- Review timecards and process payroll
- Perform other duties assigned by Management

- Must possess conflict management skills
- Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with employees, peers, and supervisors
- Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information
- Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
- Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
- Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback
Education, Training, and Experience:
- Degree in Human Resources
- 5+ years HR Management Experience
- PHR or SHRM certified preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams and TriNet
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to treat confidential information with sensitivity
