The Director of Marketing Operations leads Oura’s global go-to-market across campaigns, media, product launches, and corporate and critical business initiatives like retail, DTC, commercial, and membership. This role is a key leader on our Marketing Leadership team and will drive strategic planning, execution, and optimization as Oura scales. 

The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading Marketing Operations for a brand that has a global reach and delivers on a unique point of view. You will be empowered in this role to diagnose and operationalize opportunities to continue improving the overall strategic rigor, operational efficiency, and business impact of Oura’s world-class marketing.

This role can be fully remote anywhere within the United States or a hybrid of remote/in-person if based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

What you will do

  • Create, communicate, and evangelize a Global Operations Program for Oura designed to deliver an exceptional quality product on time and on budget that matches our brand experience.
  • Communicate and evangelize this Global Operations Program across the Marketing team and our key stakeholders across Commercial, Operations, Product, and Engineering to ensure there is clarity around the process.
  • Build consistent, coordinated processes across the entire Marketing department (including agencies and contractors) that connect strategy and execution to make us more efficient and scalable.
  • Partner effectively with a variety of creators across an internal creative team, as well as contract, agency, and specialist partners across the go-to-market.
  • Lead campaign, product, and business launch planning across all brand initiatives.
  • Support tracking, analyzing, and reporting on marketing department and campaign-specific performance metrics
  • Identify, implement, and manage marketing technology solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage and mentor a team of operations and production specialists to deliver work for all initiatives.

Requirements

We would love to have you on our team if you have the following:

  • Minimum of 12+ years of global marketing operations, strategy & operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in an environment that delivers exceptional creative quality in concept, copy, and design.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, global marketing organization across marketing and creative disciplines (Product Marketing, Brand, Growth, Media, Creative, Retail, Production).
  • Analytical, structured thinker with strong business acumen. 
  • Experience establishing systems and developing processes in a dynamically scaling environment. 
  • Experience partnering with Finance (FP&A) 
  • Proven leadership ability, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience taking a vague problem, crisply framing the challenge, identify a path forward and drive the initiative over the finish line. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred 
  • Travel within the USA and occasionally to Finland may be required.

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

  • Region 1 $161,000 - $190,000 
  • Region 2 $153,400- $180,500
  • Region 3 $145,300-$171,000
