Mighty Fine Apps is a fast-growing company dedicated to creating innovative apps that empower the deaf and hard of hearing community. Our flagship product, Live Transcribe, provides real-time transcription services, helping users bridge communication gaps. We are expanding and looking for a dedicated Customer Support Specialist to join our team and help us continue to provide exceptional service to our growing user base.
Position Overview:
As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for users of our products. You will help resolve user inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide a seamless customer experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and empathetically will be key to ensuring our users get the best possible support.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, chat or social media.
- Assist customers with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Provide detailed information about our apps and services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products, including Live Transcribe.
- Collaborate with the product and development teams to report bugs and provide feedback from users.
- Document and manage support tickets using customer support software.
- Continuously look for ways to improve the user experience through feedback and proactive communication.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer support or a related role is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with mobile apps and basic troubleshooting for iOS/Android devices.
- Empathy and patience when interacting with users, especially those from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge or experience working with the deaf and hard of hearing community is a plus, but not required.
