The April Parker Foundation, a leading non-profit organization focused on providing comprehensive services to underserved communities, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housing Case Manager Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As a Housing Case Manager Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our housing case management programs and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to individuals and families in need.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising a team of Housing Case Managers, providing guidance, support, and ongoing professional development
- Developing and implementing program policies, procedures, and quality assurance measures
- Ensuring compliance with funding requirements, regulatory standards, and best practices in housing case management
- Collaborating with community partners and stakeholders to enhance resources and services available to clients
- Overseeing the assessment and intake process, including determining program eligibility and prioritizing services based on individual needs
- Coordinating housing placements, relocation assistance, and ongoing case management support
- Monitoring client progress and outcomes, conducting regular case reviews, and making necessary adjustments to service plans
- Providing crisis intervention and support in challenging situations or emergencies
- Preparing reports and data analysis to evaluate program effectiveness and inform decision-making
Requirements
- To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a related lived experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in housing case management or related social service field
- Previous supervisory experience, including team leadership and staff development
- Excellent knowledge of housing assistance programs, eligibility criteria, and resources available to underserved populations
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and best practices in supporting individuals who have experienced homelessness or housing instability
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including clients, community partners, and government agencies
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
