Role Overview:
The Business Operations Specialist at NihaoPay will play a vital role in streamlining operations, identifying process improvements, and assisting in the execution of business strategies. You will collaborate across departments to ensure efficient operations, provide support for account reconciliation tasks, and help to drive NihaoPay’s growth through data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience in the payment or fintech industry, a solid accounting background, and a readiness to take on cross-functional responsibilities in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect, qualify, and maintain a well-developed pipeline of sales leads, negotiating and closing contracts with prospective clients.
- Coordinate with team members to optimize sales efforts, ensuring quotas are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of business development efforts with overall company goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards governing the fintech sector, and assist in addressing any compliance-related issues that may arise during business development activities.
- Stay updated on the latest fintech products, services, and technologies, and effectively communicate their features and benefits to clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field is required.
- Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing priorities and requirements in a dynamic business environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to analyze challenges, propose solutions, and overcome obstacles encountered in business development activities.
- Genuine interest and enthusiasm for the fintech industry, demonstrated through coursework, personal projects, or extracurricular activities related to finance and technology.
