Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As an BT, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to implement behavior plans and strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and their families.

We will pay to train you to become a registered behavior technician (RBT) within the first 2 weeks of employment!

Duties:

- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA

- Collect data on client progress and behaviors

- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans

- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, or community

- Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to promote positive behavior change

Skills:

-Have a valid RBT Certification (Preferred but not required - will train!)

- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities

- Knowledge of ABA terminology related to behavioral health

- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies

- Ability to implement care plans as directed by the BCBA

- Proficient in collecting and analyzing data on client behaviors

- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and team members

- Excellent organizational skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation

We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications. This is a part-time job.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
