Full Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and versatile Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for managing various financial functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, reporting, tax compliance, and overall financial administration. The ideal candidate possesses a strong attention to detail, proficiency in financial systems such as Netsuite, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable
- Input & send wholesale invoices to customers
- Monitor, collect, & reconcile payments
- Prepare & organize documents
- Resolve issues with customers over email
- Manage accounts payable
- Input & maintain vendor details
- Review & process payments to vendors & contractors
- Resolve issues with vendors over email
- Prepare & organize documents
- Manage W-9/1099 information
- Reporting
- Calculate monthly/quarterly sales, royalty, and other expense reports
- Create other financial reports as needed
- Tax & compliance
- Review sales tax return & other compliance filings & payments
- Assist with compliance registrations & filings
- Correspond with tax agencies as needed
- Create & maintain efficient systems & processes for information & communication with other teams
- Assist with monthly reconciliation tasks
- Manage & organize accounting email
- Assist with other accounting administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- Netsuite knowledge preferred
- Excel
- Google Suite applications

Part-time or contractor (20-25 hrs/week, 30 hrs max), remote (can come into Los Angeles office)
