Full Job Description

Blew & Associates, P.A. is a highly regarded national firm specializing in land surveying, engineering, and environmental services. With an impressive track record spanning over 130 years in the industry, we are currently seeking a talented Accounting Administrator to join our dynamic Accounts Receivable team. The position will be based at our corporate headquarters in Fayetteville, AR.

Responsibilities

  • Managing customer accounts.
  • Utilizing a billing system to generate invoices.
  • Collecting payments from customers.
  • Timely posting of receipts.
  • Ensuring revenue is secured.
  • Performing account reconciliations to guarantee accuracy.
  • Resolving customer disputes related to billing.
  • Following up with customers regarding overdue payments.
  • Maintaining detailed records of payments and account statuses.
  • Conducting periodic audits of all receipts to ensure accounting accuracy.

Requirements

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience with SAP, Quickbooks, or similar accounting software is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is advantageous.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
