Production Room Assistant

Manufacturing apparel company is seeking a full time Production Room Assistant.

Duties of this position include:

• Printing garment patterns and preparing them for our cutting machines
• Running cutting machines (prior experience is not required)
• Possibility of cross training in Kitting (Bundling)
• Spreading fabric with assistance of another team member

Requirements

• Basic computer skills
• Fast learner
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to stand for 8-10 hour days
• Read and write English
• Must be able to lift 80lbs rolls of paper and fabric rolls.  (with use of a hand truck)
• Sewing and CAD File experience is a plus but not needed
• Detail oriented/organized
• Team player
• Dependable
• Mechanical Knowledge
• Willing to work hard and participate in moving from one position to another
