Position Overview:
Cutting Edge Collision is seeking an experienced Front Desk Receptionist with a background in the collision repair industry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient administrative processes, and a smooth workflow at the front desk. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong understanding of the collision repair process and a passion for customer care.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression of the shop.
- Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries, providing information on services, repairs, estimates, insurance claims, and general shop policies.
- Collect and verify all customer and vehicle information accurately, updating records in our system.
- Forward messages to the appropriate team members and ensure timely follow-up.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate vehicle drop-off and pick-up times.
- Assist customers with credit card payments, processing transactions efficiently and securely.
- Call rental companies to arrange vehicles for customers as needed.
- Coordinate communication between customers, service advisors, and repair technicians.
- Provide administrative support to estimators, ensuring all paperwork is up to date and organized.
- Help manage the flow of vehicles through the shop, ensuring timely service and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with insurance companies to confirm adherence to protocols for repair processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in the collision repair industry.
Familiarity with CCC estimating software is highly preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of the collision repair process and terminology.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
