Billing Specialist

Red Diamond Vizslas is a leading breeder of Vizslas, a popular breed of hunting dogs. We are seeking a skilled Billing Specialist to join our team.

As a Billing Specialist, you will play a critical role in our finance department, ensuring accurate and timely billing and payment processing. Your attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to work independently will contribute to the overall success of our business.

Responsibilities

• Generate and send invoices to customers
• Review and verify accuracy of billing data and resolve any discrepancies
• Process customer payments and apply them correctly to outstanding invoices
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate billing
• Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices and answer any billing-related queries
• Monitor and track accounts receivable to ensure prompt payment
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve any issues or discrepancies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of billing procedures and best practices
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult customers
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
